The wait does not seem to be coming to an end. In fresh developments, DDA has now announced that the draw of lots can not take place on 17th Nov 2014 as well and has been delayed indefinitely. The mock draw of lots is taking much more time (6 to 8 hours) than the expected time that DDA assumed initially (1 to 2 hours). The technical team from C-DAC is working hard to make things work. Lets keep our fingers crossed and wait for the next announcement. Meanwhile, DDA has created a special web-page for live webcast of draw of lots, so check out this official page called www.ddadrawlive.in

The 2014 Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Housing Scheme 2014 draw which was to be held earlier on 12th November is most likely to occur on Friday, 14th November 2014. Since the draw has been postponed, the applicants will have to wait for draw results to fulfill their dream of owning a house in Delhi.
2014 Housing Scheme of DDA which was launched on 1st September has received over 10 lakh applications with around 17 lakh application forms sold. This scheme offers 25,000 flats in prices ranging from rupees 7 lakh to 1.2 crores and various categories- EWS, LIG, MIG, HIG, Janta flats and one-room apartments. The draw was originally to be held on 10th Nov and was later postponed to 12th Nov which now again has been postponed. The housing authority has been carrying out mock draw runs to check the preparedness of the system. DDA will most likely hold the 2014 draw on Friday.
Vice chairman of DDA, Balvinder Kumar revealed that some applicants had reported issues with the data in their application forms uploaded on its website. The massive response from applicants for this scheme led to crashing down of DDA website, due to which the draw has been postponed for a couple of days.
The DDA housing scheme Draw will be organized by Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) Delhi. Though CDAC has not yet revealed the venue where the draw will be held. Reports say that the venue will be either CDAC main server office or DDA office or may be Noida where the DDA Housing Lucky Draw 2011 were held.
The draw will take about 60-90 minutes and additional 30 minutes will be taken by housing authority to come up with the names of successful applicants on the DDA website, as told by VS Tomar, director (systems) of the housing authority. The entire event of housing scheme draw will be webcast live on YouTube.
