A credit card is a card that a bank issues permitting the holder of the card to purchase goods or services on credit based on the cardholder’s promise to pay back to the card issuer and the additional charges such as interest if applicable. In other terms with a credit card the issuer such as a bank grants a line of credit to the cardholder. If you back the borrowed money within a specific grace period set by the issuer, then you will not have to pay extra charges. However, if you pay later than that date then you will have to pay the borrowed money back along with the interest levied on it. A credit card is a good way to keep a smooth cash flow. An issuer sets the limit of credit to your credit card based on various criteria such as your occupation, annual income, and the capacity to repay.
