IRCTC- the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation is an Indian Railway subsidiary that deals with the online ticketing, tourism, and catering operations of the Indian Railways. It handles approximately 6,00,000 bookings every day. It was founded by the Ministry of Railways in 1999. Its headquarter is located in New Delhi. For any latest updates, information and news related to IRCTC all you need to do is log on to Fingyan.com and read to your heart’s content. The IRCTC also sends an SMS to all its travelers notifying them about the status of the delayed trains. This service is available for around 250 trains such as Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, Garib Rath, Tejas and Gatiman and Jan Shatabdi.
